Leatherman was established in 1983 in Portland, Oregon from nothing more than a passion for honest hard work and quality American-made products.  Founder Tim Leatherman built his first multi-tool with one goal in mind: to manufacture the highest quality product that deliver excellent value to the consumer, while providing good, living-wage jobs to the local workforce.  Fast forward thirty years later and they're still going stronger than ever in the U.S. crafting the famous multi-tools and knives that can endure just about anything.
